My work is an invitation to explore both light and dark spaces, and the ways in which we inhabit them
I am a painter and installation artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Through image and metaphor, my work explores themes of environmental concern, social justice, and personal mythology. I am interested in the interplay between collective and individual experience within time and place. Often drawing on mythic archetypes, I aim to create layered narratives that invite viewers to inhabit both light and shadow, and to consider the many ways in which these forces can be experienced. Within quiet, contemplative spaces, I hope to create a synthesis of these opposites—offering moments of tension, beauty, and reflection.
. My work tells an ongoing story of presence and absence. To me, it is a story with no beginning and no end. Individual works are primarily mixed media painting, bookmaking, sculpture and installation.
